Mike was born on July 1st, 1958 in Ludlow, MA. The oldest child of John Teehan and the late Judith Nee Adams. He leaves behind his loving wife Jarlefe and their children Marc, Aiza and Michael. His father John and his wife Shirley. His siblings Marc (deceased) John Teehan-Comstock and his daughters Josephine and Jamila, Rick Teehan and wife Joanne their children Maureen and Wesson, Bob Teehan wife Tresa and children Logan, Emily and Katie, Lisa Teehan and her daughter Madison. After graduating High School Mike joined the Army spending most of his tour in Germany where he became and avid Skier often spending his leave skiing the Alps. A couple of years after leaving the service he decided to continue his education, was 3 credits short of his degree when he fell in love with the way of life in Alaska. His first summer job as a boat hand in Homer where the first lesson he learned was don't complain about the food or you will be the cook! After a few years working on a boat he moved to Dutch Harbor and the rest is History. He became part of the Alaska ILWU223 longshore Unalaska in 1994 until his last days. They became his family and he loved his job. He was the "Gandolf" of the container yard with his color, complex and crazy style, but he was loved by many. He will missed for sure, Cheers Mike!
