Russon Brothers - Farmington/KaysvilleMichael Terkelson “Terk”, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 24, 2025. He leaves behind a legacy of love, hard work, laughter, and adventure that will continue to inspire all who knew him.
Born with the heart of a true mountain man, Mike found his greatest joy in the outdoors—especially where the water met the wild. He treasured his many Alaskan cruises and his beloved cabin on Kodiak Island, a sanctuary where he fished, explored, and created unforgettable memories with his wife and close friends.
Mike dedicated over 44 years of his career to Mountain Fuel Company, which later became Questar, and Dominion Energy. His strong work ethic, steadfast loyalty, and willingness to lend a helping hand earned him the respect of colleagues, friends and family. Mike was also a talented chef with a deep love of good food and good company. In the 1980-90s, he owned and operated Dos Miguel’s Restaurant in the Salt Lake City area, where he poured his creativity and hospitality into every meal served.
He is survived by his loving wife, Kimmie, his daughters, Brandy and Christy; and his adored grandchildren: Morgan, Monroe, Izaak, Jakeob, and Natasha. He is also survived by his brother, Jerry, along with extended family and lifelong friends who will miss his steady presence, humor, and warm spirit. His love and influence will continue to be felt every day.
