Michael Theobald Obituary
Michael J. Theobald, III., age 65, passed away on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at the CAMC Memorial Hospital in Charleston, WV. He was born in Erie on December 24, 1960, the son of the late Michael J. and Audrey Weyand Theobald, Jr.
Michael was a graduate of Cathedral Prep, class of 79. He received his Engineering Degree at Gannon University and a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of MI. He worked for several years at Bell Labs in N.J., then moved to WV where he began a Computer Programming and Repair Service. Michael also loved astronomy and watching old movies.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister Julie Theobald.
He is survived by one sister Therese M. Theobald Mckolanis, one brother Henry J. Theobald, and one nephew Michael R. Mckolanis.
Friends are invited to attend a brief viewing at St. Jude R. C. Church, 2801 West 6th Street, Erie, PA 16505 on Friday, February 13, 2026 from 10:15 am until the time of the Funeral Mass at 11 am.
Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
