Michael Thomas Obituary
Michael L. Thomas, 28, of DeMotte, passed away Septenber 18, 2024.
Michael was born on February 22, 1996, in Crown Point, to Thad 'Ray' and Lori (Knutson) Thomas. He graduated from Kankakee Valley High School in 2015.
Michael cherished his trips to Wisconsin for family visits. He looked forward to his adventures in Florida, visiting theme parks and beaches. He also enjoyed swimming, Mario Kart, SpongeBob, and watching Wheel of Fortune.
Michael is survived by his parents, siblings: Joe (Amy) Thomas, Josh (Angie Vasquez) Knutson, Angela (Ryan) Burke, Thad ‘Drew’ Thomas, Travis (Julie) Thomas, Lucas (Riley) Thomas, 17 nieces & nephews, and was a great-uncle to 3 nieces & nephews, along with many special aunts & uncles, and friends.
Michael was preceded in death by his grandparents: Harold C. Thomas, Margret Thomas, Louis Knutson, and Janice Knutson.
All are invited to visit with family on Friday, September 27, 2024 from 3:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Community Church Roselawn, 10498 N 450 E, De Motte, IN 46310.
Services will be on Saturday, September 28, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Community Church Roselawn, with Pastor Joel Zuidema officiating. Interment following at the DeMotte Cemetery.
