Michael Lee Thomson, 82, husband of Helen Louise Thomson, passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2023. He was born in Billings, Montana on October 11, 1940 to the late Lena Blacquiere and Francis T. Thomson. Mr. Thomson was in the United States Air Force and had retired as a salesman in the mining industry. He was also a graduate of the University of Montana where he played college football.
Mr. Thomson enjoyed racquetball, golf and UK basketball and football.
Besides his wife, Helen, of 57 years, those left to cherish his memory includes his daughter, Amy (Marty) Brewer; son, Sean (Jill) Thomson; grandchildren, Ali (James) Brewer-Marquardt, Katie Brewer, Emily Brewer, Andrew Brewer, Jack (Emma) Thomson, Ella Thomson, Lucy Thomson; and great grandchildren, Eleanor Brewer-Marquardt, and Isaiah Thomson.

I was sad to learn that an old friend, Mike Thompson, had passed away. We were classmates at the University of Montana for four years and remained in contact via social media over the past decade or so. Mike was one of the nicest guys and was always there with his ready smile and optimism. He will be missed by many. RIP Mike Thompson... COL Blaine "Butch" Hendricks, USA, Ret.
