Michael Thrams Obituary
Memorial Visitation: Thursday, November 9, 2023, from 4-7 PM at the Schipper Funeral Home LTD.
Memorial Service: Friday, November 10, 2023, at 11 AM also at the Schipper Funeral Home LTD. Interment of ashes will take place at a later date in Matteson Cemetery.
Michael T. Thrams age 76 of Sherwood passed away on Saturday, November 3, 2023, at The Oaks at NorthPointe Woods in their Legacy Care unit.
Michael was born on December 21, 1946, in Sturgis, Michigan, a son to the late Earl and Elizabeth (Waterhouse) Thrams. Michael made his home in Sherwood, Michigan and spent his entire life living and farming on the family farm and working in Bronson at Douglas AutoTech for some time.
On December 29, 1973 Michael married his wife of 49 years, Maxine M. Dennany in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
Maxine and the Thrams family would like to give a special thank you to ProMedica Hospice, and The Oaks at NorthPointe Woods Legacy Care Unit for their exceptional care and compassion provided over the length of Michael's stay.
Surviving Michael today is his wife Maxine M. Thrams of Sherwood, sons: David (Pam) Thrams of Battle Creek, Dan Thrams of Portage, granddaughter: Madi Thrams step grandson: Alexander Goddard, and his sister Patricia (Lynn) Scott of Bronson.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents Earl and Elizabeth Thrams.
Following in his wish's cremation has taken place. A memorial visitation will be held on Thursday, November 9, 2023, from 4-7 PM at the Schipper Funeral Home LTD. in Colon. A memorial service celebrating Michael's life will be held on Friday, November 10, 2023. Interment of ashes will take place at a later date in Matteson Cemetery.
