Michael Bruce Tomblin, 64, of Saginaw, Texas, a husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend to many went to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 19, 2025, at his home in Saginaw, Texas.
Mike was born to Charles Tomblin and Rachel Joanne Haynie on July 6, 1961, in Memphis, Tennessee. He was united in marriage to the love of his life, Kim Louise England, on October 22, 1983, in Blytheville, Arkansas. He was a Military Veteran who served his country proudly in the United States Navy, and retired after 24 years of exemplary service as a Lieutenant Commander. Mike loved his country and carried the honor of serving this country with him every day. Following his retirement from the Navy, Mike began his second career working at Lockheed Martin. Mike retired from Lockheed earlier this year after 19 ½ years of dedication to a job he loved. Mike loved his family deeply but was especially devoted to his granddaughter “MerriMack”. Mike was a man with many hobbies, but his favorite was coaching his boys and the youth of the community through the years. He cherished the memories of his time with every child he coached. Whether he was in a hunting blind, cruising in his 1972 Mach 1 or his 2016 California GT, golfing with his kids or watching the Texas Rangers from his favorite recliner, Mike had built a life he loved. Mike enjoyed going on trips anywhere near water…lake, river or ocean, he loved it--he was after all, first and foremost a Navy man. He looked forward to relaxing and feeding the seagulls each time he made it back to the ocean.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Tomblin and Rachel Joanne Tomblin as well as his sister Vicki Tomblin.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 42 years, Kim England Tomblin of Saginaw, Texas; his Sons Dylan Michael Tomblin and his fiancée Brianna Baker of Dallas, Texas; Zachary Tomblin and his fiancée Madison Besio of Godley, Texas; Jared Tomblin and his wife and daughter Ashton and Merrick Tomblin of Stillwater, Oklahoma; his sister Katie Tomblin of Mountainview, Arkansas along with extended family and innumerable friends he had made along with way.
