Michael Paul Tschirhar t, 70, of Tecumseh, Michigan, passed away at home on July 20, 2025. Mike was born on February 5, 1955, at Detroit Osteopathic Hospital in Highland Park, Michigan. He proudly served 16 years in the U.S. Air Force, working on the flightline with dedication and pride. His service took him from Tampa, Florida, where he met his former wife, Helen, to Spain and eventually Tucson, Arizona. It was in Tucson that he transitioned to civilian life and he and Helen raised their three sons. Mike had a lifelong passion for motorcycles. They were his way of staying connected to freedom and adventure. One of his greatest joys was sharing that love with his sons, teaching them to ride and passing down both knowledge and a spirit of independence. After a divorce and retiring, Mike settled in Tecumseh, Michigan, close to his family there. He is survived by his daughter, Sherri Urbina of Tampa, FL; his sons, Luke (Shana) and Nick (Ashley) Tschirhart of Tucson, AZ, and Jake Tschirhart of Vacaville, CA; his sisters, Margo Moore of Brooklyn, MI, Marie Holmes of Adrian, MI and Leah Laney of Lima, OH; and his beloved grandchildren, Adelyn and Eden Tschirhart of Tucson, AZ. He was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Dooley, and his brothers, Mark Tschirhart and Mac Hall. Mike's memory will live on in the stories we tell, the rides we take, and the lessons he passed down to his children and grandchildren. He was deeply loved and will be missed more than words can express. Memorial Services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, July 31, 2025, at Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N Adrian Hwy, Adrian MI 49221. Military Honors will be performed by the Adrian American Legion Post 97 Honor Guard. Visitation will also be on Thursday from 10:00 AM until the time of service at Purse Funeral Home in Adrian, MI. www.PurseFuneralHome.com
