Michael Turpin Obituary
Mike was born on June 18, 1971 to Marlet and Mary (Neligh) Turpin in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was a carpenter for over 38 years. He found great pride in his work.
Mike enjoyed spending time in his woodshop working on projects. He would go camping and fishing every chance he got. He loved to be one with nature. He also enjoyed kayaking, hiking, throwing horseshoes, bonfires, music and his beloved cats Binx and Camper.
Mike was quick to help anyone in need. Always looking out for friends and neighbors. He always showed up with a smile on his face and a servants heart. His humor and personality was unmatched and will be greatly missed.
He is proceeded in death by his father Marlet Dean Turpin.
He is survived by his loving fiancé, Ashley Shrum, whom he was planning to marry on their 10 year anniversary in October. His mother; Mary (Neligh) Burkett. Brother's; William Dean Maichel and Marlet Dean Turpin. Children; Christopher Ray Turpin, Michael Ray Turpin II, Chelsea Rae Turpin and Coty Lee Zabicki. Grandchildren; Annabelle Faith and Liam Lee. Nieces and nephews, Great-nieces and great-nephews, two great-great nephews.
A Celebration of Life for Michael Ray Turpin will be held on Saturday April 12, 2025 at 2pm, at Mt Pleasant Christian Fellowship Church, 2425 S. Emerson Ave, Greenwood, IN 46143.
