Michael J. Uditsky of Grays Ferry. A man known to all for his keen sense of humor, and quick with a joke. Sadly, passed away after a long and brutal battle with addiction on June 20th, 2025.
Born on December 26th, 1980, to Michael Uditsky and the late Ellen "Lynch" Uditsky. Father of Michael and Avery Uditsky. Brother of Ellen (James), Maggie (Joe) and the late Franny Uditsky. Uncle of Joe-Joe Myers.
Those who had the pleasure of knowing Michael understood that his humor was matched only by his capacity for love and thoughtfulness. He never missed an opportunity to lend a helping hand. Michael leaves behind a loving family, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins, a multitude of friends and a community that is better for having known him.
While we will miss you enormously,
God knew that you were suffering,
He knew you were in pain.
And knew that you would never get well on earth again.
He saw your path was difficult,
he closed your tired eyes,
He whispered to you " Peace be Thine "
and gave you wings to fly.
Family and friends will be received on Friday, July 11th, 2025 from 10 to 10:45am in St. Gabriel's Parish, 2917 Dickinson St., Philadelphia, PA 19146. Mass will begin in church on Friday at 11:00am.
In lieu of flowers family prefers contributions go toward Michael's Funeral Expenses, payable to the Wm. H. Logan Funeral Home, 2901 Wilder St., Philadelphia, PA 19146 or by placing Michael Uditsky in the comment section in this payment link: Michael Uditsky Funeral Expenses.
