Anthony P. Bartorillo

Anthony P. Bartorillo passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his family, on February 12, 2026, at the age of 72.

Born and raised in the Lawrence Park section of Broomall, Pennsylvania, Anthony was the son of the late Joseph and Catherine (Synamon) Bartorillo.

He graduated from Marple-Newtown High School and went on to establish a successful roofing and siding company that proudly served homes and businesses throughout Delaware County for more than 40 years. In retirement, Anthony continued sharing his talents by helping renovate homes through his creative painting and finishing work.

Anthony loved to cook-especially pasta dinners and barbecue, which he joyfully prepared for family gatherings. A talented gardener, Anthony completely transformed the landscaping around his home. He was a fan of classic rock and alternative new music and a lifelong Philadelphia Eagles supporter.

Anthony faced struggles with addiction during his life but ultimately found redemption and peace through sobriety, leaving a legacy of strength, resilience, and recovery. Through the fellowship of AA, he embraced a new way of life and devoted himself to helping others fight the disease of addiction.

Anthony is survived by his beloved wife of 16 years, Mary Lu (Stephens); his children, Anthony, Diane, and Michael; his grandson, George Anthony; his brother, Bobby, and sister-in-law, Maria; his former wives, Candee Matthias and Karen Miller; and many loving nieces, nephews, and friends. He was predeceased by his brother, Joe, and his sister, Kathleen.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Anthony's life at a luncheon on Friday, February 20, at 12 noon at Media VFW Post 3460, 11 Hilltop Road, Media, PA, 19063.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks for donations to Media VFW Post 3460 in memory of Anthony.
