Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home - SeymourMichael “Mick” Ray Vandre was born June 3, 1954, to Stanley Walter Vandre and Mary Margaret (Johnson) Vandre in Denver, Colorado. He passed away February 27, 2026, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri, at 71 years of age.
Mick joined the United States Navy in November of 1971 and served his country for two years in Vietnam. After his service, he enjoyed a career as a heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration technician.
Mick was united in marriage to Lori Lynn Savala on February 27, 2012, in Miami, Oklahoma. Mick's hobbies included trains, dirt track racing, working on cars, and rock crawling in his Jeep. He was also a member of the Lutheran Church.
He was preceded in death by his father, Stanley Vandre, his step-mother, Mary Romine, and his brother, Pat Vandre.
Mick is survived by his wife, Lori Vandre, his sister, Jackie Westlund and husband, Bob, three stepchildren, Max, Zach, and Brittany, eight grandchildren, Malachai, Paul, Aliahna, Bentley, Weston, Lincoln, Aurora, and Christian, many nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss him.
