Michael Roy Vanleuvan, 53, of Winston Salem, passed away Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice House, after a long battle with cancer.
Born February 29, 1972, in High Point, he is a son to LeRoy Vanleuvan and Vicki Ruth Abbott Vanleuvan. Michael was a stadium chair supervisor in the entertainment industry. He was obsessed with golf, loved his job, but most of all he loved his kids and spending time with them. He affected many people’s lives. He had several sayings he loved to say, “Love me or hate me but you will definitely remember me, Team work makes dream work - The REAL CHAIR MIKE”.
He is survived by his son, Joshua Vanleuvan of Jamestown; daughters, Jessica Vanleuvan (Nick) of High Point, Michaela Vanleuvan of Greensboro, and Nia Vanleuvan of Pittsburgh`, PA; and brother, Jonathan Vanleuvan (Jaime) of Winston Salem.
He leaves behind many friends and family members.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date in the summer.
