Michael V. Vigliante, 63, of Albany, passed away Thursday, September 18th 2025, at home surrounded by his family.
Michael was born in Albany, NY the son of Rocco J. Vigliante and Elizabeth (Amesmaier) Clancy.
His interests included carpentry, building, fishing, and boating. He especially loved music and movies and sharing that love with his wife and children.
He was a lifelong master carpenter and tradesmen, who provided his skills and mentorship to various companies throughout the years.
Survivors include his loving wife, Maureen E. Vigliante; son, Michael V. Vigliante, Jr. and wife Tonya; daughters, Meagan E. Vigliante, Mikayla C. Vigliante, and Marissa N. Vigliante-Bilpuh and husband Alex; grandsons, Giovanni M. Capps, Dominic W. Smith, Devien Njenga, and Keynan Njenga; sisters, Karen E. Vigliante and husband Joe, Deborah A. Smith and husband Jason, Jill Kourafas, Colleen Bautochka, and Colby Scaccia; brothers, Rocco J. Vigliante, Jr., Philip Sasinowski, and Christopher Clancy; father-in-law, William J. Campbell; sisters-in-law, Sharon Jurs and Denise Campbell; brother-in-law, Donald Campbell; nephews, Sage Brown, Brandon Vigliante, Cory Alverson, Mike Bautochka, Tyler Sasinowski, Owen Kourafas, Will Kourafas, Declan Campbell, Anthony Scaccia, and Jeremy Jurs; and nieces Jackie Hodges, Karley Bautochka, Bethany Alverson, Brean Cornelius, Chloe Scaccia, and Coranna Ferrezanno.
He was predeceased by his beloved granddaughter, Anastasia Grace Speller; his beloved brother-in-law, Michael J. Campbell; as well as both his parents and mother-in-law.
Friends and family are invited to call on Tuesday, September 23 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m in the Wm. J. Rockefeller Funeral Home, 165 Columbia Tpk, Rensselaer. A funeral mass will be held the following day, Wednesday, September 24, at 10 a.m. in The Parish of St. John the Evangelist and St. Joseph, 50 Herrick St, Rensselaer, NY 12144.
