Michael Volpetti Obituary
Michael Volpetti, 83, of Old Forge, died Monday, March 2, 2026, in Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
Born in Buffalo, N.Y., his parents were the late Edward and Elizabeth Griffith Volpetti.
He attended two years of college and had several jobs, the latest was as a salesman for Cap AutoSales in Old Forge.
Michael loved his family very much and was always there for them. He was a very friendly person and would help anyone who asked for his assistance. He will be missed by everyone who knew him.
Surviving are his long-time companion, Rosemarie Alberigi, and his cousin, Louis Volpetti.
The family wishes to thank Louis for all the care he gave to Michael.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday from Jacob Davis Funeral Home, 422 S. Main St., Taylor. A visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to service time.
Interment will take place in Milwaukee Cemetery.

RIP Michael Volpetti and deepest condolences to his companion Rose Marie! Mike was a one of a kind special gentleman, who could discuss all major events of the 20th Century with a photographic memory of all those special times! Finally reunited with his cherished departed family, now rest easy Mike!
