Michael Voss Obituary
Not only was Uncle Mike the favorite uncle and brother for all, he was the family historian with a vivid memory of generations of details who somehow became Mom and Dad's favorite. Affable, well-read, and intelligent, Mike matriculated from Georgetown Prep High School as well as attended his favorite university of all time the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Being completely and selflessly devoted to family and friends, Mike was known to travel across the East Coast in order to assist and partake in family events.
Brother to Elizabeth (Pete Bain) Voss of Melbourne, Australia, Paul (Mary) Voss of Chesapeake, VA, Mark Voss of Morehead City, NC, Kari (Cain) Dimon of Raleigh, NC; son of late Jane Voss and late Thomas Voss, uncle to Ellen, Susan, Kathleen, Anna, Maria, Jack, Eva, and Grace; nephew to Walter R, (Barbara) Cempura of Belleville, IL and cousin to Walter (Colette) Cempura of Clarkston, MI.
Friends and relatives are invited to attend a celebration of life for Michael at Saint Gabriel Catholic Church, 3016 Providence Road, Charlotte, NC, on Friday July 7, 2023 at 11:00 AM.

Mike Voss has been a dear friend for almost 20 years now. My heart is very hurt to know he has been taken to heaven so soon. I have been his hair dresser since before I was even licenced to do so! Starting in my kitchen in early 2000s he had me keeping his hair always looking sharp. He also commissioned me to paint his family crest for him, which even though I was not happy with the end result he absolutely loved it. Mike had such a big heart, and cared for all those around him. Up until recently he lived right up the street from my other half and he and I were able to spend quite a bit more time together. Between cookouts and bonfires and haircuts and years of friendship I have so many memories that I will take with me forever! He will be heavily missed!! I hope to be able to attend his funeral and/or memorial service, and will keep checking back until I get this information. My heart and prayers go out to his family and friend family!! Heaven has gained an amazing man too soon! Love you Mike!!
