WAINWRIGHT, MICHAEL W. of Pontiac; September 16, 2024; age 73; Cherished husband of Becky for 42 years; Loving father of Jim (Kristyn) Wakeford, Tammie (Matt) Whitemore, Scott (Teri) Wainwright, Gigi Wakeford and Nancy (Tony) Velasquez; Beloved grandfather of Josh, Jimmy, Jasmin, Cris, Samantha, Dylan, Zac, Abby and James and great grandfather of many; Dear brother of Jean, Eva, Cheryl, Maggie, Eric and the late Ben and the late Phyllis. Mr. Wainwright was a Vietnam veteran of the United States Army and worked as a truck driver. He was a member of the VFW Post 1370, Loyal Order of Moose 182, Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 1230 and the American Legion Chief Pontiac Post 377. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2024 from 10 a.m. until 12 noon at the Riverside Chapel, Simpson-Modetz Funeral Home, 5630 Pontiac Lake Road, Waterford.
