Paul Deni Obituary

Paul spent most of his life in the grocery business, first in Pontiac with his father until he enlisted in the Marines during the Korean War. He was proud of his service and shared many stories. Later, he re-entered in the grocery business in Waterford with his brothers Don and Joe. It was here that he developed friendships with the many grocery patrons and a passion to support the community. Upon retiring from the grocery store, he spent the last half of his career, nearly 25 years, in public service. First as a Waterford Township Trustee and retiring as the Waterford Township Treasurer.
Paul took great pride in taking care of and providing for his family and friends. He will be sorely missed. The family has chosen to hold a private ceremony.

Paul was my dear friend at Lockwood for more than three years. We spent hundreds of hours talking about our families, experiences, and being elderly people. My favorite place to talk was under the tree near his patio.
I am thankful to have known him. My sympathy to his family whom he

Paul will be remembered as a kind and sweet man. I used to assist Paul with the various bank deposits when he was the Waterford Township Treasurer. He and Eleanore were long time friends of my parents Jim and Evelyn Seeterlin. Rest in Peace dear Paul, with your lovely wife and family who have gone before you.
