Michael Wargo Obituary

Michael "John" Wargo, 84, passed peacefully on Saturday, August 23, 2025 at the VA Community Living Center after a very brief illness. He was born in Erie on January 21, 1941, the son of the late Michael and Rose Hayes Wargo.
John served as a Marine from 1960-1968, earning numerous medals including a Purple Heart from injuries sustained in the Vietnam War.
A grave side service will be held at Erie Cemetery on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at 1 pm with full military honors. Arrangements by the Dusckas Martin Funeral Home.
