With heavy hearts yet joyful spirits, we announce the passing of Michael Andrew Webb, who departed this world on August 19, 2025, at the age of 63. Born on November 3, 1961, in Colorado City, Texas, Michael was a beloved son, husband, father, grandfather, and friend. His life was marked by love, service, and a deep appreciation for the simple joys of life.
Michael, a proud member of the Episcopal Church, dedicated many years of his life to serving his community, retiring from the TX Dot Maintenance Crew to continue his work as a maintenance man at Eastland ISD Middle School, where he formed cherished bonds with the children. An avid gardener, he found great pleasure in tending to his goats and chickens, nurturing life in every way he could. A devoted Dallas Cowboy fan, Michael's passions extended beyond work to include family, laughter, and the joy of being "Papa" to his treasured grandchildren.
He is lovingly remembered by his wife of nearly 39 years, Sylvia Webb of Olden; his son, Gary Hays, and wife Laci of Eastland; his daughter, Sarah May and husband Chris of Burleson; his cherished mother, Lola Webb of Eastland; six adoring grandchildren-Jacob, Michala, Isaiah, Micah, John, and Erik; his brother, John Webb and wife Mickie; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
Michael was preceded in death by his father, Donald Ray Webb, Sr and a brother, Donald Ray Webb, Jr.
Pallbearers are; Rojelio Bonilla, Clinton Brown, Travis Rogers, Lee Williams, Buster Robinson and Bill Moore.
Funeral services will take place on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Eastland, led by Father Bill Bloodgood. Interment will follow at Eastland City Cemetery.
A visitation will be held on Friday, August 22, 2025, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Edwards Funeral Home in Eastland. We invite all who knew and loved Michael to join us in honoring his incredible life and the lasting impact he made on those around him.
