Syble Webb Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mrs. Syble Jo Webb. Mrs. Webb passed away Saturday evening, January 24th, 2026, while at MUSC Health – Florence Medical Center. She was 80 years old.
Born in Hartsville, Syble was a daughter of the late Glenn & Essie Woodle Huggins. She retired from Byrnes Security after 28 years of service. Syble enjoyed watching TV and her favorite shows was SpongeBob and Justified. She also enjoyed taking care of cats, whether they belonged to her or not.
Surviving is her son, Eddie (Lisa) Webb; known to her grandchildren as “NaNa:” Christian Webb, Taylor Webb, Bryce Gainey, Gaige Eason, Walker Eason, and Ariel Eason; and a godchild, AJ Lewis. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edward Lee Webb, Sr., siblings: Leonard H. Huggins, Billy D. Huggins, Barbara Huggins Dean, and Peggy Huggins Mims.
Her service will be conducted at 2 o’clock on Friday afternoon, January 30th, 2026, by the graveside of Magnolia Cemetery with Reverend Russell Gainey officiating. The family will be speaking with friends following the service at the graveside.
