Michael G. Westman, Sr., age 69, of Erie, passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at his home surrounded by family.
He was born on July 7, 1954, in Erie, a son of the late Gerald and Betty Lintelman Westman. Michael was a graduate of Strong Vincent High School and worked as a mechanic for various shops all his life. He enjoyed spending time with his family, his dog Bailey, and experimenting with both cooking and eating new foods.
He leaves behind to cherish him in memory, his wife of 48-and-a-half years, Cynthia Zaborowski Westman and his son, Michael G. Westman, Jr. (wife, Gina), of Waretown, New Jersey. He is further survived by his granddaughter, Allison Westman and his sisters, Sandra Bianco, of Florida and Peggy Jachowski, of Little Egg Harbor, New Jersey. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Sharon Sicilano and several nieces and nephews. Family would like to thank Michael’s caregiver, Katie, and social worker, Kathleen, who were both tremendously helpful in his final days.
All services were private and held at the convenience of the family.
