Michael Anthony Wilcox

Michael Anthony Wilcox, age 30, of Grove City, Ohio, passed away at his home on November 12, 2023. He was born on July 30, 1993, in Columbus, Ohio, to Anita McCollum and William A. (Billy) Wilcox. Michael was a loving husband, a doting father, a protective big brother, a beloved son, and a loyal friend. He had a silly sense of humor and loved to laugh and make others laugh as well. Michael was a hard-working and respected coworker, known for his dedication and commitment. He was completely and madly in love with his wife, Krislynn, and their children, Reagan Anthony and Saylor Bree.
In addition to his immediate family, Michael is survived by his second mother, Jonna R. Wilcox, his maternal grandmother, Vivian L. Sams, his paternal grandparents, William L. and M. Elaine Wilcox, his siblings, Ashley Hoge, Briar-Rose Wilcox, Evangeline Wilcox, and his adopted brothers, Gavin-Lee, Kaden, and Blake Hawkins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Harold R. (Russ) Sams, and his sister, Brittany (Bree) Nadine Wilcox.
Michael attended Hilliard Bradley High School and later pursued a career as an Installation Supervisor at Breezeline (formerly WOW). Outside of work, he enjoyed amusement parks, family vacations, watching Ohio State Football, Fantasy Football leagues, participating in Magic the Gathering, and playing video games.
A funeral service to honor and celebrate Michael's life will be held on Monday, November 20, 2023, at 12:00 PM at Ferguson Funeral Home, located in Plain City, Ohio. Prior to the service, calling hours will be held on Friday, November 17, 2023, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM for family members and a public viewing will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Refreshments will be provided between calling hours at Cornerstone Church of Christ in Christian Union located at 8280 Rickard Rd. Plain City, OH., 43064 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The graveside service will be immediately following the funeral service at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, located at 5600 E. Broad St., Columbus, Ohio 43213. Following the services, a reception with refreshments will take place at 37 W. Broad St., Columbus, Ohio 43215. (entrance on 10 S. Front St.)
