Michael J. Wilding was born on August 7, 1950, in Somerset, MA to the late Albert & Mary (Rogers) Wilding. He passed away peacefully at home on December 2, 2023, at the age of 73.

Michael is survived by his wife of 29 years, Vicki Wilding. He is also survived by his son, Steven Wilding and his wife Jennifer Boucher Wilding of Missouri, his daughters, Kimberly Oliveira of Fall River, MA, Jillian Snyzyk and her husband Justin Snyzyk of North Smithfield, RI, Stephanie Soares and her husband Shane Soares of Mission, TX, Nicole Wilding of Swansea, MA, and several loving grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Michael was a man of strong, unwavering faith, and greatly loved spending time with God. He attended His Providence Church in Swansea, MA, before moving to Nashua, NH. After he moved, he would watch the church’s weekly live streams without fail.

Michael was a general contractor for over 30 years. Once he retired, he enjoyed spending his days making all kinds of furniture for his family, friends, and everyone in between. He was also an avid fan of the New England Patriots, and would almost always be seen wearing one of his favorite Patriots hats or shirts.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Angela Eleuterio Burchill, brothers, Albert Jr., Gilbert, and William, and a sister, Patricia.

A celebration of life service will be held on December 30th at 10AM at His Providence Church, 262 Swansea Mall Drive in Swansea, MA 02777. Flowers are welcome to be sent to the church. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to His Providence Church.
