Mike was born April 2, 1949 in Fort Worth; son of Willie Conner Williams and Birdie Juandine (Childers) Williams.
He met Susan Hinds and they were married on August 19, 1993. They would go on to spend just shy of 33 happy years together.

Of all of his interests in life, his first love was his family. All of his favorite activities involved spending time with them.
He also loved mexican food, especially beef fajitas.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and two sisters, Cynthia Burnett and Connie Stevenson.
Survivors include his loving wife, Susan Williams; children, Mark Williams (Kimberly), Kerry Williams (Jennifer), Shelly Wilson (Melvin), Dan Hinds (Susie), Derrick Hinds, and Lisa Hinds; 21 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; sister, Sherie Stevenson; sisters-in-law, Nancy Spaulding, Debra Chicola (David), and Sally Ladehoff; brother-in-law, Lawrence Ladehoff Jr. (Anita); many nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family members and friends.
