Ty Lewis Williams

Ty Lewis Williams, age 23, of Locust Grove, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, February 3, 2026. He was born on September 26, 2002, in Stockbridge, Georgia, the son of Jermey James Williams and Stephanie Ever Carreker.

Ty was a super kind and funny soul whose presence made people feel seen and welcome. He was Class of 2021 graduate of Locust Grove High School. Ty carried his creativity with him wherever he went. He had a big imagination and a natural gift for storytelling, often expressing himself through writing and the stories he loved to share. He had a way of making people laugh, easing tense moments with humor, and reminding everyone around him not to take life too seriously.

He loved boxing and never missed a chance to watch fights with friends, especially UFC events. He was working hard to learn the trade of plumbing/pipefitting with RDH Mechanical. More than anything, Ty will be remembered for his gentle heart, his infectious laugh, and his creative spirit. He had a rare way of making people feel heard simply by being himself.

Ty's family and friends will forever cherish the stories he told and the love he shared with them. He will be deeply missed and remembered by all who knew him.

He leaves behind his parents, Stephanie Carreker and Jermey Williams; brother, Kody Williams; sister, Kasey Dahl; nephews, Waylon, Brantley and Tanner; grandparents, Evelyn (Rodney) Henderson and Phil (Lynn) Carreker; aunts and uncles, Summer Watson, Danielle (Robert) Collins, Nick (Heather) Henderson, Kyle (Sam) Henderson, Holly Ray, Heidi (Brad) Hall, Elizabeth (Cody) Hall; many cousins, Breanna, Ruthie, Trey, Kase, Knox, Levi, Luke, Emily, Abigail, Preston, Taylor, Ansley, Millie, Sophie, Sydney, Madeline, Rachel and his best friend, RJ Watson; as well as several extended family members and friends.

A service to honor Ty's life will be held on Monday, February 9, 2026, beginning 5:30 PM, at Relevant Church, 4770 GA-42, Locust Grove, GA 30248.
