Michael D. Wise

Michael Wise, age 62, of Whitehouse, Ohio, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loved ones, on Wednesday, December 10, 2025. Born on November 4, 1963, in Toledo, Ohio, Michael was the son of the late Willard and Lois (Howe) Wise.
Michael was a proud graduate of Anthony Wayne High School, Class of 1982. After graduating, he worked as an electrician. A passionate sportsman at heart, Michael could often be found cheering enthusiastically for his favorite teams-the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Michael had a soft spot in his heart for dogs, especially beagles. Family was the center of Michael's world. He cherished every moment spent with those he held dear. Michael was always ready to set aside anything he was doing to support his family or friends at a moment's notice. His selflessness showed in the way he cared, supported and showed up for the people he loved.
On September 3, 1994, Michael married the love of his life, Virginia "Lee" (Brunton), who survives him in Whitehouse, Ohio.
Michael will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His memory lives on in the hearts of his family and friends.
Along with his beloved wife, Lee, Michael is survived by his two sons Matt Wise, Jarred Wise, his brothers Gary (Nadine) Wise, Larry Wise, Jeff Wise, sisters Sally McEwen, Linda (Charles) Riley, many nieces and nephews and numerous cherished friends.
A celebration of life gathering for Michael will be held at a later date. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Peinert-Dunn Funeral Home Whitehouse, Ohio located at 6603 Providence St. 43571.
