Michael Dean Wooden, 77, passed away July 21, 2025 in Bethany, OK. He was born October 20, 1947 to Grady and Bernice (Wright) Wooden in Oklahoma City, OK. He grew up in Bethany and graduated from Putnam City High School in 1967. He married his first love, Catherine Lorraine Wooden, on March 22, 1968, and they had two daughters, Michele and Lisa.
Michael loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing, hunting and picking up pecans. He was also a woodworker and watching old westerns was a favorite pastime.
Michael is survived by his daughters, Michele Wooden and Lisa Johnson and husband Matthew; brother-in-law, Jerry Legg; and grandchildren, Deion Jackson, Calen Jackson and Shelbee Jackson. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Graveside services will take place at 10:00am on Thursday, July 24 in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Oklahoma City.
