Michael Paul Woods

Michael Paul Woods, a father, grandfather, son, grandson, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend, passed from this life on Tuesday, January 9, 2024 in Henryetta, Oklahoma. He was born on May 11, 1971 in Henryetta.

Michael grew up in Weleetka and proudly graduated from Weleetka High School.

A family man at his core, Michael inherited the strength and compassion of his parents, Charles and Cindy Woods, and the wisdom of his grandmother, Pauline Hale. He embraced fatherhood with all his being and was adored by his daughters, Teliya and Mersadie Woods, his sons, Jeffrey Woods with wife Taylor, and Blake VanMeter, along with his precious grandchildren, Peyton and Oliver Woods, whose lives were brightened by his love and guidance.

His larger-than-life personality filled the room, leaving a lasting imprint on his siblings, Cheryl Fisher with husband Jack, and Samantha Shaddix with husband Melvin. Michael's spirit lives on through his nephews, Chad Owen with wife Madelyn, Bradley Shaddix with wife Haley, Braden Shaddix, Jackson Fisher, and his nieces, Rebecca Owen with her child Paisley, Ashly Fisher with her child Alaina, and Brooke Shaddix, each cherishing memories that will resonate through generations.

Michael's heart extended beyond his immediate family to his aunts and uncles, Shirley Pangle with husband Jack, Robin and Randell Woods, Preston Woods with wife Angela, James Hale, and Pauline Hale-Jones, and cousins, Jennifer Earls, Jason Marshall, Sharon Woods, Karen Romine, Justin Alcantar, Trevor Alcantar, Trent Jones, Brittney Alcantar, Erin Williams, Rachel Burden, Cary Woods, Mark Woods, Diana Stevens, and to all those who knew him, Michael mirrored a friend's warm embrace and a confidant's understanding ear.

Though preceded in death by his beloved grandmother, Wanda Earls, aunt Becky Earls, cousins Julie and Jordan Earls, uncle Buddy Hale, grandfather Charlie Woods, and Uncle John Charles Woods, Michael's love and laughter echo profoundly within the hearts of those left behind.

Michael also leaves behind his chihuahua, "Peanut", to whom he had a special connection.

Viewing will be from 5-8 PM on Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at Integrity Funeral Service.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 10:00 AM, Thursday, January 11, 2024 at the First Baptist Church in Henryetta with Rev. James Page, officiating.

Interment will follow at the Hillcrest Cemetery in Weleetka.

Services are under the care and direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
