Michael David Young

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Michael David Young, age 73. Beloved husband to Antonietta "Ann" Young (nee DiCristofaro), father of the late Sean Young, Kelly Young, Ryan (Beth) Young, Keri (Eric) Mueller, Devoted son of the late Mary Margaret (Rist) Young and Charles William Young, son-in-law of Maria (nee Nunnari) and the late Domenico DiCristofaro. Brother of the late Mark (Loretta) Young, Regina (John) Winright, Matthew (Nancy) Young, Virna (Daniel) Varnado, Lisa (Kevin) Bogar, and Nevas DiCristofaro; uncle to many nieces and nephews. Michael passed away suddenly at the age of 73 with his wife at his side Tuesday, April 1, 2025. Mike was a University of Cincinnati Alumni and upon graduation took a job as an accountant for Anchor Hocking in Lancaster, Ohio. He entered the insurance industry at the age of 32 as Vice President of the life and health department at Schiff Kreidler-Shell in Cincinnati, Ohio, and shortly thereafter became partner until the acquisition by Arthur J. Gallagher & Company in 2012. He remained Vice President for five years after the acquisition. Michael deeply loved life, family, friends and golf.
A private celebratory memorial service will be held for members of the immediate and extended family. If you would like to honor Michael, please make a contribution to Tunnel to Towers or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital on his behalf.
