Michael Zimmitti Obituary
Michael Vincent Zimmitti, 30, of Cheshire, passed away on Saturday, June 22, 2024. Michael was born on November 29, 1993 in New Haven, CT, to Joseph Zimmitti and Sandra York.
Michael was a fun-loving, kind, free spirit with a big smile. He loved his family and friends with passion. Mike greatly enjoyed the outdoors and took many visits to Vermont, New Hampshire and throughout New England. He loved to spend time and hang out with his brothers and friends, and also with his dog, Savior. Concerts and carnivals were fun outings for him. Michael was loved by all and will be missed by all.
In addition to his parents, Michael leaves behind his brothers, Joseph and Paul Zimmitti; nieces, Isabella and Luna Zimmitti; paternal grandmother, Doris Zimmitti; maternal grandfather, Paul Miller; uncles and aunts, Gary (Renee) Zimmitti, Lori (John) Simmons, Steven Zimmitti, Sally (Joe) Barile, and Jamie (Julie) Miller; and many cousins. He was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Vincent Zimmitti; maternal grandmother, Jane Miller; and uncle, David York.
Services for Michael will be held privately. Memorial contributions may be made to an animal shelter of one’s choosing.
