Micheal “Cap” James Trahan, 71, of Sulphur, LA died on December 22, 2024, at a local hospital. Micheal was born on March 2, 1953, in Cameron, LA to Ruby and Belonie Trahan. 

Micheal loved being around his family and friends and was a man of his word and would honor it to the highest degree. He said what he meant and meant what he said. He was born and raised in Cameron and later moved to Sulphur. He was a member of the Southern Brotherhood motorcycle club and Mongol motorcycle club, and Rat Pack. Micheal loved riding with his brother’s clubs and working on his bike in his shop. 

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 5 years, Crystal Trahan; four daughters, Renee Michelle Trahan, Shida and Brian Orcutt, Michelle and Oz Trahan, and Tori and Tim Monte; two sons, Calvin and Tanya Ware and Zackery and Carly Gann; 15 grandchildren, Zoie Trahan, Ayden Domingue, Kaven Haines, Blazen Domingue, Ollie Orcutt, CiCi Orcutt, Kainen Trahan, Kingston Royer, Sage Monte, Ella Gann, Oliver Gann, Caleb Seneca, Jade Raven, Mckenzie Raven, Cameron Sweat; 3 great grandchildren, Amellia, Ellie and Barrett.

He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Blake Broussard; sister, Grace Cormier; and friend, JJ Brooks. 

Funeral services will be at 12:00 PM Thursday, January 2, 2025, at Johnson Funeral Home of Sulphur. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until 12:00 PM Thursday, January 2, at Johnson Funeral Home of Sulphur. Burial will be at 1st Baptist Church Cemetery in Cameron. Graveside committal will be at 2:30 PM following services.
