It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Michele Ann Affer, beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend, who left this world peacefully on December 28, 2024, at the age of 70.
Born on September 4, 1954, Michele spent her life embodying warmth, kindness, and a deep love for the simple joys that made every day special. She was the devoted wife of Louis Affer for an incredible 51 years, a union filled with enduring love and partnership. Together, they built a life rooted in family and generosity.
Michele was the proud mother of Nichole, who carries forward her legacy of love and care. She was also the sister to Joseph and Cynthia, and the late James. Known for her passion for reading, Michele found joy in the worlds woven within the pages of her favorite books. She delighted in cooking, filling her home with the aromas of meals made with love, and she had an unmatched enthusiasm for holidays, which she turned into magical occasions for giving and togetherness.
Above all, Michele adored her family and treasured her home, which was the heart of her life. She created a space filled with warmth, laughter, and unforgettable memories for those she loved.
Michele's spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew her. Her legacy is one of selflessness, compassion, and an unwavering love for the people and things that mattered most to her.
She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered. May her memory be a blessing.
A Memorial visitation will take place on Friday, January 3, 2025 at Bagnasco & Calcaterra Funeral Home 25800 Harper Avenue St. Clair Shores from 2:00pm until 7:00pm.
