Michele Ernette Bozzuto, 68, of Saltsburg, passed peacefully Nov. 13, 2024, after a brief illness at Allegheny General Hospital. Born in Latrobe, PA, on Sept. 30, 1956, to Elizabeth (Kontros) Ernette and Thomas Ernette. Michele resided for most of her life in Westmoreland County and never met a stranger. Michele is survived by husband, Tom (Zoot) Bozzuto; mother, Elizabeth Ernette; son, Jaison Zello; grandson, Jaison, Jr.; granddaughters, Moniqua, Katrina, and Aalayah; brothers, Dan (Karen) of Scottdale and Dave of Penn Township; and sister, Kathleen (Lori) of Connellsville. Many nieces and nephews to include and great-great nieces and nephews who always found their aunt fun loving and always a joy to be with at family gatherings, her beloved fur babies, Blaise, Gizmo and Midnight. In addition to her father, Tom Ernette; she was predeceased by an infant older brother; paternal grandparents, Bernard and Genevieve Ernette; maternal grandparents, Michael, and Anna Kontros. Michele loved motorcycles and animals, but her true passion was caring for her patients as a home health care hospice-certified nursing assistant for 22 years. She was the first employee to retire from Bridges and then continue as a volunteer to help where it was needed.
