Michele Castanos was born on October 6, 1976 in Toledo, Ohio. She grew up with family in Mexico up until her teenage years. She moved up to Michigan and met the love of her life. They spent 31 years together and were married for 27 years. She had 4 beautiful children and lived comfortably and happily in their home in Romeo. Her life was cut short Monday, June 2nd, 2025 in a fatal car accident in Romeo, Michigan. She devoted majority of her life being a stay at home mother and wife until she started working as a baker at a local grocery store and loved being able to provide for her family.
In 2019, she developed a condition known as CRPS (chronic regional pain syndrome). It caused her much pain in her day to day life and she managed it as best as she could. She never let the pain stop her from enjoying life. She will always been remembered as being such a strong person for all that she went through.
Her hobbies included spending time with her grandchildren, watching movies and shows with her husband, and going thrift store shopping and stopping at yard sales with her kids. She cherished the little things in life and had the kindest heart. No matter what she was going through, she always had a smile on her face, and always tried to put a smile on yours.
She leaves behind her loving husband and soulmate, Carl Castanos, who stood by her side with unwavering strength and devotion. She was a proud and devoted mother to Danielle Seiber, Alisa Jones, Oscar Castanos, and Samantha Castanos. Michele was also a deeply cherished grandmother to Jayden, Olivia, Rayden, Lilith, and soon to be born, Matthew. She will be missed dearly by her mother Bridget Robinson, and sisters Beronica Lopez, Claudia Lopez, Sabrina Bullis, and Barbary Foley.
