Michele was born on March 24, 1966 to Wade Morton and Annette Ventura in Philadelphia, PA. She departed this life on February 27, 2022.
Michele professed a hope in Christ at an early age. She joined and was baptized at Mt. Pilgrim African Missionary Baptist Church and then later joined Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor James Manning.
Michele graduated from Central High School in St. Croix U.S. Virgin Island in 1984.
Michele began her professional journey with the Santa Rosa County Health Department where she worked for many years. She later was employed at the Santa Rosa Correctional Institution. She was a Girl Scout, a member of WISE (Women Independently Seeking Excellent) and a proud member of "Chic's Angels". Michelle loved to read, play spades (while cheating), watch Criminal Investigative shows like NCIS, the color purple and the artist known as Prince. Her greatest love was for her children and grandchildren. She had a heart for helping others, was a true friend and a wonderful big sister.
Michele was preceded in death by her son, William Frederick Beasley; paternal grandparents, Henry and Willie Morton; maternal grandmother, Millie Monk; step-mother, Ella(Mama Louise)Morton; uncle, Earnest Morton; cousin, Kierra Johnson
Her memory will forever be cherished by her daughter, Demitta Thomas and son-in-law Michael Thomas; grandchildren, Amerie, Aiyana and Michael William; father, Wade Morton; mother, Annette Ventura; brothers, Wade(Stefanie)Morton and Marcus Morton; sisters, Kimberly Morton, Jennifer Morton and Nicole Walton; aunts, Bertha Morton and Audrey Volstorf; 11 nephews, 3 nieces; special cousins, Marquerita Davis and Casie Hyman Allen; special friend, Felicia Samuel; a host of other family and special friends.
