Michele Dee "Miki" (Ramsey) Shue, 61, of Parsons, passed away at 9:15 p.m., Saturday, December 20, 2025, at her home in Parsons.
She was born on April 6, 1964, in Oswego, Kansas to William Samuel and Ramona Jean (Edwards) Ramsey. She grew up in Parsons and attended Parsons schools graduating from Parsons High School in 1982.
Throughout her life, Miki was a hard worker who learned many skills that included farming, woodcarving, canning food, hunting, fishing, and working on cars. Her first job was working at McDonalds's, and she also worked in construction. She then worked at Taco Tico with her best friend, Donita Boone, until its closure. She then worked at Grandview Cabinets as a finisher. She retired in 2011.
Miki enjoyed playing softball, bowling, golfing with her dad, and hanging out with the neighborhood kids, "The Winway Brats", in her youth.
She and Randy Lee McCready were married in 1983. They later divorced. On October 31, 2010, she married the love of her life, and high school sweetheart, Ricky Lee Shue. He survives of the home.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son, Samuel Eugene "Sam" McCready and his sons, Blake Samuel McCready and William Dale McCready; her sister, Jacque Lynn Russ and her sons, Jonathon Russ (Ashly) and Aaron Russ; great niece, Riya Russ; her sister-in-law, Margie Ramsey, and her sons, William Douglas Ramsey (Sweta), Mike Ramsey (Jessica), her daughters, Melanie Neighbor (Marc), and Kathie Esposito (Joe); and many great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Kenneth Owen Ramsey and Richard Ray Ramsey; twin infant grandsons, Damon and Brian McCready; her best friend, Donita Boone; and one great-niece, Raylin Ramsey.
Memorial graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 31, 2025 in the Oswego Cemetery with Chaplain Randy Beeman officiating. Burial will follow the service. In lieu of flowers and plants the family suggests memorials to the Proud Animal Lovers Shelter, and these may be left at or mailed to the Carson-Wall Funeral Home, 112 N. 26th St., P.O. Box 942, Parsons, KS 67357. Online condolences may be left at www.wallfuneralservices.com.
