Michele Lyn Westfall, 51, passed away on August 21, 2025, to be with our Lord Jesus. Michele was known for her compassion, her fiery spirit, and her unwavering loyalty to those she loved. Friends and family can attest to her strong will and fierce devotion—she was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed.Michele is survived by her beloved dog of 16 years, Dexter, who was the center of her world from the day she brought him home. She is also survived by her parents, Richard and Francine Westfall; her sister Holly Mariscal and brother-in-law Paul Mariscal of Ashland, Kansas; her nieces Alexandra Vasquez and husband Levi of Tucson, Arizona, and Mia Muniz; and her great-niece Sadie Vasquez.She also leaves behind her nephews Jake Muniz of Albuquerque and Andrew Chavez and wife Katelyn of North Carolina; great-nephews Liam and Oakley Vasquez of Tucson, Arizona; her great-aunt Marlene Malchak of Vestal, New York; and many cousins, including Evan Younger, who held a special place in Michele’s heart.Michele was preceded in death by her sister, Kristin Chavez, her maternal and paternal grandparents, and several beloved aunts and uncles.A Rosary and Mass will be held in Michele’s honor on Friday September 26th 2025, at Church of the Risen Savior Catholic Church, 7701 Wyoming Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM. Services will begin at 9:30 a.m., with a reception and lunch to follow.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bosque Trails Hospice of Albuquerque or Animal Humane New Mexico.To share condolences and memories of Michele, please visit the online guest book at www.danielsfuneral.com.
