Shelly was blessed with a beautiful spirit, contagious smile, and had a personality larger than life. She often referred to herself as Shelly Sunshine.
Shelly was preceded in death by her grandparents Clarence Herb and Barbara Atkerson, and Arthur and Audrey Hoyt. Shelly is survived by her parents Mike and Barb Atkerson, sister Margo (Ben) Seastrom and her nephew Travis Seastrom. Other survivors include aunts, uncles, cousins, and several close family friends.
A Celebration of Life will be Friday July 26, 2024 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the Greenwood Masonic Lodge #514. 592 N Meridian St., Greenwood, IN 46143. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to The Childrens Shriner Hospital.
