Charles Wayne Wolfe, affectionately known as Charlie, lived a life marked by love, adventure, and an indomitable spirit. Born on July 16, 1942, in Indianapolis, Indiana, Charlie's journey came full circle as he passed away peacefully on July 17, 2025, at the age of 83.

Charlie was a man who cherished his roots and the love of his family. He is survived by his loving daughter Jennifer Miller and her partner Jeff Medaris, and son-in-law Wayne Pritchett. Charlie's legacy continues through his adored grandchildren Rachel Emerton and her husband Richard, Jermey Miller and his wife Kelsie, Kelly Nowak and her husband Jonnie, Katelyn Miller, Maria Whitecotten and her husband Tyler. His great-grandchildren Aniya Wehr, Jackson Miller, Victor Emerton, Nora Miller, Casper Emerton, and Lucas Nowak will grow up hearing tales of their great-grandfather's warmth and zest for life.

Charlie's brothers, Richard Wolfe and his significant other Connie, Jim Wolfe and his wife Jeanete, and Gary Wolfe and his wife Brenda, will hold dear the memories of their brother's unwavering support and camaraderie. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Myrtle Wolfe, his loving wife Linda, daughters Sharon Pritchett and Tina Wehr, and several siblings, as Charlie was one of 15 children.

Charlie's professional life as a semi driver for Conway Freight spanned many years, where he was known for his reliability and friendly demeanor. His colleagues will remember him as a man who brought not just his skills but also his heart to every mile he traveled.

Those who knew Charlie will recall a man who lived life to the fullest. His loving nature was the cornerstone of his existence, and his adventurous soul led him to embrace every day with enthusiasm. Charlie's spirited personality was infectious, and he had the rare gift of making every person he met feel like the most important person in the world.

As we bid farewell to Charlie, we celebrate a life beautifully lived and a journey completed with grace. His stories will be told, his laughter will echo in the hearts of those who loved him, and his spirit will continue to inspire generations to come. Charlie Wolfe's memory will be treasured always, as a man who truly knew how to love and live.

Clap for the Wolfman! Here is Charlie at his finest singing with Margie´s Mom and twin sister. What a gorgeous voice and I´m sure he´s singing still.

We were lucky enough to live next door to sweet Charlie. The past few years have been really difficult on our family. We´ve lost our parents and a sibling. Charlie was always there with a hug. I cried lots of tears on his shoulder. I´m so grateful for our friendship. Sending so much love to his family and loved ones.

Words cannot express the depth of sorrow and grief that I feel due to Charlie´s passing. He was my partner and best friend for over 20 years. Prior to him becoming ill, we traveled the country extensively together with friends and had many many wonderful times, which I will remember and cherish forever. We also mutually enjoyed music and country dancing, and had many fantastic nights out with our friends at the Greenwood Moose. I will miss those times together, as well as the monthly "Brothers´ Lunch" and fun times with friends on our motorcycle trips. Rest in peace dear Charlie.

My deepest condolences to Charlie´s family and his many friends. We have many fond memories spanning over 20 years of friendship with northwoods vacations and singing karaoke - I greeted him with "Clap for the Wolfman" and it always made him smile. Rest in Paradise
