Michelle Card Obituary
She met her eternal companion Kent at a dance and two weeks later they were engaged to be married. Kent and Michelle were sealed for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake City Utah temple on April 28,1990. Shortly after this they started their family and went on to raise three children. She worked in several capacities all revolving around some form of service towards others.
Michelle lived a life that was built on the principles of Christ like love and service towards others. There was never a person left in her path that she didn't seek conversation and ultimately left them feeling loved and appreciated. Michelle had a knack of making others feel comfortable and loved. She served in several capacities as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, many of which were with the youth. She was a loving and caring mother and the best grandmother anyone could ask for. Michelle's true passion was her family for which she selflessly served throughout her life.
She is preceded in death by her parents Brad and BerNeta McNeil, and brother Brett. She is survived by her husband Kent Card, elder sister Gina (Jared) Johnson, twin sister Marci (Richard) Palmer, younger brother Bryce (Shawna) McNeil, children Ryan (Natasha) Card, Kristen (Christian) Neff, and Jace Card as well as her pride an joy in her grandchildren Emmett, Quinn, Miles Card, SkyeLee and Bentley Neff.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, May 9th, 2025 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints River Ridge building located at 10124 South 1300 West, South Jordan, Utah. Public visitation will be from 10:30-11:30 am MDT with the Funeral Service from 12:00- 1:00pm MDT.

Michelle had a unique gift to selflessly serve all those she came in contact with. It´s one to serve those you know, it´s quite another to do so with people you have just met. While I worked with her, each interaction I had was filled with positivity and willingness to carry other´s burdens. I am heartbroken that I hadn´t talked to her recently, but fondly remember the last time we talked on the phone. Truly was an angel here on earth. :)

Kent and Family, and Michelle´s dear siblings and families,
We are so sorry to hear of Michelle´s passing. What a ray of sunshine she has been to so many! She was one of the first to welcome us to Francis, and her light truly enriched our lives. May you feel peace and comfort from our loving Savior as you reflect on all your beautiful memories of her, until you unite with her once again. Until then, may you feel her beautiful presence as she watches over you all, with the same enthusiasm she had in this life. We know how she loved and missed her dear parents and are grateful to know she is thrilled to be with them once again. What a beautiful plan of our loving Heavenly Father.

So sorry to hear about Michelle´s passing. We always had a ton of respect for her. She was such a kind person and amazing mom. We loved getting to know your family back in the old Francis 1st ward. We have no doubts but that she is experiencing immense peace and joy in spirit paradise! Thank goodness for the knowledge that families are eternal and that you will be back together again.
