Michelle Ann Gordon (Korte)
August 29, 1967 – October 28, 2025

Michelle Gordon passed away peacefully on October 28, 2025, at Trinity Nursing Home in Minot, North Dakota, surrounded by friends who loved her dearly.

Born in Minot to Lawrence "Bud" Korte and Dorothy Korte (Grant), Michelle grew up in Berthold as the youngest of six siblings. She carried the memory of her twin brothers, John and Joseph, with quiet grace throughout her life.

After high school, Michelle began college at the University of Mary, but it was the birth of her daughter Alicia in 1990 that reshaped her path. She moved to Minot, enrolled at Minot State University, and pursued nursing -a calling that matched her deep empathy for others.

Michelle met Greg Gordon at a New Year's Eve party in 1988. They married in 1995 and raised two daughters, Alicia and Nicole, with love, laughter, and unwavering devotion. Later, she became a grandmother to Matilda "Tilly" Bouton, who lit up her world. Michelle adored Tilly with a love that was fierce, joyful, and unconditional.

She spent years caring for others at Trinity Nursing Home and Minot Health and Rehab, where her kindness and quiet presence made her a trusted nurse and a comfort to many.

Michelle is survived by her husband Greg; daughters Alicia and Nicole; granddaughter Tilly; siblings Bruce (Kathy) Korte of Bismarck, Brian Korte, Minot, and Lorri Baumgartner of Fargo; and many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, and grand-nephews who will carry her memory forward.

She was preceded in death by her parents and twin brothers.

Michelle's life was defined by love-steady, generous, and true. She gave without asking, listened without judgment, and loved without limits.
