Michelle Renee Grizzle, 51, of Goodlettsville, passed away Wednesday, December 22, 2021. Born August 21, 1970 in Nashville, TN, Michelle was the daughter of Ronnie Elliott and Myra Dycus Bell. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ruth and Graden Dycus and Ruth and William Elliott; and also by a sister, Angie Elliott. A graduate of Franklin High School, Franklin, TN, Michelle had worked at the Greenbrier Elementary School. A loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sibling she had a selfless nature and always tried to help others. She participated in the walk for Lupus every year that she was able to. Her smile and infectious personality would light up any room and served as a catalyst for her wide circle of friends. She enjoyed time spent outdoors especially being on the lake and loved the times riding seadoos. She also was an avid reader. Above all, she loved her family and especially loved her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband David Grizzle, with whom she had spent 34 years; her daughter, Kaitlyn Smith (Tuff); her grandchildren, Raelynn Smith and Maverick Smith; her mother, Myra Dycus Bell; her father, Ronnie Elliott (Pam); brothers, Gregg Elliott (Jessie) and Daniel Bell; aunt Lesia Dycus Hale (David); uncle, Mike Dycus (Beverly); extended family members and many friends. A celebration of Michelle's life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lupus Foundation of America, Mid-South Chapter. https://www.lupus.org/midsouth
