SLINGERLANDS - Michelle Heroux passed away peacefully at 4:08 p.m., on January 31, 2026, at age 57. She is survived by her daughter, Sarah; and wife, Casey Beyer; son, Lucas Heroux; parents, Dr. Robert and Carol Rosenblatt; siblings, Amy Roman, Andy Michne, and Michael Rosenblatt (Katherine). Michelle was predeceased by her beloved brother, Stephen Rosenblatt.
Michelle graduated from the Memorial Hospital School of Nursing in 1988 and became a distinguished Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Nurse at Albany Medical Center for 13 years. After leaving the NICU she worked with Next Step and the Visiting Nurses Association of Albany. She was truly a nurse at heart, living her life for others no matter what she herself was facing.
Family was central to Michelle, and this was shown in the love she had for her children. In her final months, Michelle found joy in anticipation of the arrival of her first grandchild, due to Sarah and Casey. Lucas is in the Biological Sciences Ph.D. program focusing in Molecular Genetics at the University of Maine. His caring attention to her over the last few weeks of her life was a testament to their connection to each other. She was extremely proud of her children.

We are so proud of our daughter who has handled this disease with grace and courage. We will forever miss her and the love she gave us all.
