Michelle Joann Hott, age 49, of Johnson City, Tennessee, passed away at her home on Tuesday, January 10, 2023.
Michelle was born July 23, 1973, to the late George Hott, Sr. and Joan Chasten Hott in Urbana, Illinois. She was of the Christian faith.
Michelle had a huge heart, especially when it came to animals. She loved caring for her cats, dog, and guinea pigs. She loved to write, she filled countless notebooks with her writing. She enjoyed birdwatching outside of her kitchen window, she especially enjoyed seeing the Cardinals because they reminded her of her mom. Most of all, she loved spending time with her husband, daughters, and grandchildren.
Michelle was kindhearted, selfless, and she loved to make people laugh. She will be greatly missed.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Kaleb Hott.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Willis Burley; daughters, Hailey McClain, and son-in-law, Ryan McClain, Kylie Warren, and son-in-law, Alexander Godoy; grandchildren, Kaleb Warren, Autumn McClain, Declan McClain, and Kamden Godoy; and brothers, George Hott, Jr., and Greg Hott.
