The family Of Michelle Rae Lanhart of Silverton Texas are saddened to announce her passing on October 15th 2025 at the age of 67 years.
She will be lovingly remembered by her beloved Fred Mayo of 3 years, son, James Pitts, sisters, Kayann Poole and Kathy Ottinger. She will also be missed by her in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends.
She was predeceased by her loving husband Lee Lanhart of 38 years, Brother Larry Hibbert and parents Lucille and Harold Hibbert.
Michelle, nickname Mickey, studied and passed nursing assistance with flying colors and received a plaque of her accomplishments. She also won first prize Blue Ribbon at a state fair for a painting she did. Mickey was very creative and took several first-place awards at her place of employment working in telephone sales along with costume contest at parties and cooking. She won a grant for free hand drawing and shading. Mickey had a bubbly personality that often-made people laugh and smile. She was easy to like and loved to entertain others and play games. She was interested in fashion and design and had a fantastic imagination. Mickey was a DJ from her home and into all kinds of music. One of her favorites was Marilyn Manson; who'd have thought at 67 years of age! So young at heart!
Mickey, you will live on eternally in our hearts and thoughts. You've made lasting memories with your love and silliness. We'll smile and remember that's the gift you've left behind. This isn't goodbye, but until we meet again. We love you sissy peace be with you.
