Michelle Lockridge-Rood Obituary

Michelle June Lockridge-Rood, "Shelly," a resident of Safford, and former resident of Clifton, AZ, and Oklahoma City, OK, peacefully entered into eternal rest Saturday morning, December 16, 2023, at Peppi’s House TMC Hospice in Tucson, AZ, with her daughter by her side. Shelly was 51.
Shelly was an amazing soul that had many skills and talents ranging all the way from track star to artist to homemaker. She believed in living life just for today and often only saw the good in people and cared and loved for many along her path.
Michelle leaves behind to mourn: her daughter, Callie Ann; son, Chance; grandbabies, Maylah, Mazalyne, Makaree; mother and father, Beverly and Anson; sister, Leslie; brothers, Lemmie and Pete; and son-in-law, Roy.
There will be a viewing for friends and family Thursday, December 21, 2023, at 11:00 a.m., at the Vining Funeral Home. A funeral service, her remembrance of life video and sharing stories will follow also at the Vining Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow in the Sheldon Cemetery, concluded with the serenity prayer.
