Michelle Luttrell

Michelle (Shelly) D. Luttrell (Kohli), 57, of Tamarac, FL, passed away peacefully at 8:43pm on
May 27, 2024 following a sudden illness.
She was born on October 13, 1966 to Barbara Lee in Lima, OH.
Shelly married the love of her life, Ron Luttrell, on August 16, 1986.
Shelly is a graduate of the Shawnee High School class of 1985 and successfully completed
Cosmetology and Management at Frederick Beauty College in Lima, OH in 1986. She then
went on to open her own salon in Bellefontaine, OH before moving back to Lima, OH. She
pursued various career paths, but chose to focus on her family life, motherhood, and traveling
with her family.
Shelly was an avid fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes, Notre Dame Fighting Irish, Miami Dolphins,
and most recently, Florida Panthers.
She loved animals, specifically feeding hummingbirds, ducks, and parrots. Her favorite animals
of all were her fur-babies; she could never turn one away.
Most of all, Shelly loved her family. Her two children, Nile and Mallory, were her pride and joy.
Her favorite accomplishment was being a loving mother, wife, and Mimi.
She is survived by her husband Ron Luttrell of Tamarac, FL; son Nile (Janet) Luttrell of
Loveland, OH; daughter Mallory (Alec) Jeffers of Charlotte, NC; mother Barbara Lee of
Loveland, OH; sister Judi (Joe) Deehan of Loveland, OH; brother Rob (Kathy) Kohli of Lima,
OH; grandsons Hunter, Harrison, and Callaway Luttrell of Loveland, OH; and numerous aunts,
uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
The family will hold visitation hours from 3-6pm on Wednesday, June 5th with a Memorial
Service beginning at 6pm at the Shawnee location of Chiles-Laman Funeral Homes, Lima,
Ohio.
