Michelle Lynne Turner O'Malley

Beloved wife, mother, daughter and sister
Michelle Lynne Turner O'Malley, born on April 18, 1975 in Summit, NJ passed away on Tuesday, June 3, 2025 at age 50 after a six-year battle with Parkinson's Disease. She was married to Michael J. O'Malley for 22 years and they have one son, Christopher (15). Michelle was born and raised in Millburn, NJ and later lived in Union before returning to Millburn. She was a 1993 graduate of Millburn High School, later receiving her A.A. degree in Early Childhood Education from Morris County College.
Michelle worked in day care at the Roseland Child Development Center and F. M. Kirby Children's Center where she lovingly took care of infants and toddlers of countless families. In her spare time, she enjoyed crafting, painting, sewing, and reading and spending hours in her beloved craft room. She loved to shop at The Dollar Tree, Hobby Lobby, and Michael's, always looking for her next inspiration. Her favorite TV shows were The Golden Girls and Charmed, never tiring of the wit and sarcasm of Blanche, Dorothy, Rose, and Sophia. She also spent many summers at her parents' beach house on Long Beach Island with her family, relaxing in the back yard and lounging in the hot tub.
Michelle is survived by her husband and son as well as her mother and father, Gail and Bob Turner, and her in-laws Tom and Barbara O'Malley, brother Michael, his wife Pamela and their children Harrison, Dylan, and Victoria, brother in-law Tom his wife Lisa and their sons Tommy, Connor, and Ian.

Visitation will be held at the Bradley, Smith, & Smith Funeral Home, (www.bradleyfuneralhomes.com), 415 Morris Ave., Springfield, NJ. from 4-7pm Friday, June 6, 2025. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at 11am at St. Rose of Lima Church , 50 Short Hills Avenue, Short Hills, NJ 07078.
