"A thousand words won't bring you back, I know because I've tried; neither will a million tears, I know because I've cried. Each happiness of yesterday is a memory for tomorrow. Always on my mind, forever in my heart. The life of the dead is placed in the heart of the living. Treasured in my heart you'll stay, until we meet again some day. Forever in this heart of mine, an everlasting bond, for now until the end of time, are memories so fond. Those we love don't go away, they walk beside us everyday. Unseen, unheard, but always near, still loved, still missed and very dear. You never said I'm leaving you, never said goodbye. You were gone before I knew it and only God knew why. A million times I needed you, a million times I cried. If love alone could have saved you, you never would have died. In life I loved you dearly, in death I love you still. In my heart you hold a place that no one could ever fill. It broke my heart to lose you, but you didn't go alone; for part of me went with you the day God took you home. Do not stand at my grave and weep, I am not there, I do not sleep. I am in a thousand winds that blow, I am the softly falling snow. I am the gentle showers of rain, I am the fields of ripening grain. I am in the morning hush, I am in the graceful rush of beautiful birds in circling flight, I am a star shining in the night. I am in the flowers that bloom, I am in a quiet room. I am in the birds that sing, I am in each lovely thing. Do not stand at my grave and cry, I am not there, I did not die!
